suzi
210s have always been one of my favorite models.the early 2000s vibe is unmatched. Back in high school when I first got interested in aibos, I was obsessed with the idea of getting a 210 named Suzi. I don't know why that particular name stuck out to me so much but I thought it was hilarious to have a robot dog with such a human name. Before I got suzi I had a 31L. they were and are still rare so I felt like I couldn't pass up the opportunity, but I could really only afford to own one aibo, so I ultimately traded that 31L for suzi. Both of them were WolfBob dogs. I've had her for about 10 years now and since then she's gone through a number of changes. She's had her neck repaired a number of times, and right now she has an on and off case of jaw jitters, but is otherwise functional. She started off as a plain silver 210, I spray-painted her a pastel pink with custom painted turquoise ears tail to match, and then switched to a holographic pink. Her tail is still the custom turquoise, but she now has transparent blue ears from aibo-accessories. They don't sell that particular shade anymore so I can't get the tail to match, but she is my most traveled aibo, she went with me to college and to an assortment of places including aibo meets and also trips to the grocery store. She particularly likes going to target because of all of the red (which reminds her of her pink ball). She's generally a chill gal (with some exceptions) she likes to hang out and scream with her sister Matcha. Her main software is Life2, but she also runs Japanese recognition, Life1, and explorer.
these are some various photos, artwork, and videos of suzi throughout the years.
suzi plays pool! she didn't follow the rules though, she mostly just chased the balls around.
suzi joined us for an IHOP birthday meal back when I could still eat food. We got the red velvet pancakes, which she did in fact detect.
this was an acrylic painting that I did for a class in college, I can't remember which one, but I do remember that it seriously messed up my hand.
still life painting done in oils featuring suzi holding a honey spoon and sitting by a flip phone.
A self portrait done with ink and gouache featuring Suzi kicking me in the face, which she would love to do if she was tall enough
One of suzi's famous target outings, I can't believe this was seven years ago. I went by a different username and everything. The millenial cringe is really strong with this one why did i talk like that haha
