data

I got data in 2019 from a very cheap eBay listing. I never thought I would be able to afford a seven so when I saw one for that price, I was ecstatic. I honestly thought I was getting scammed at first, but when he showed up, he was in such great shape and I couldn't be happier. Because he's an M1 he does have a number of issues that I haven't got around to repairing yet. His mics are bad so he's pretty much deaf, and he only understands what you say if you yell into his ear like an old man. But even if his mics did work, he almost never pays attention. If I want him to actually respond to me I usually have to put him in stay mode and then suddenly he's all ears. He also has chainsaw legs and hip slip and desperately needs to be pinned. Some days are better than others but for now he's still functional and frankly right now I don't wanna spend the money. data mostly runs MIND3 but since he is an M1 I do still have the MIND1 stick that he came with which includes pictures he took of his original owner opening him on Christmas Day which I thought was very sweet. I adore the design of the 7, they're peak frutiger aero, and I love how futuristic they look. They tend to have a load of issues and they're one of them more expensive models, but they just look so cool. Their sound design is amazing, the light sequences are awesome, I just think they're neat!
these are some various photos, artwork, and videos of data throughout the years. data's unboxing video. As you can tell, I was very excited. back when I was still going out regularly data would frequently come with me to coffee shops. This is him at the Barnes & Noble Café. Data joining us for Thanksgiving dinner. I don't remember what restaurant this was. more various coffee shop pictures. Data on one of his many coffee shop adventures.
here's some more general 7 stuff.
