I didn't expect to get two of them, but I couldn't resist. They were having a buy one get one half off sale so that's where my tax return went lol. These were the first colored pawlettes that build a bear has released in a long time that didn't have those awful glitter ears. (I don't know why they do that. I don't know anyone who genuinely likes those.) I was originally going to make the pink one a boy and the blue one a girl because that's fun, but I thought you know what I have enough boys in my collection so let's make them both girls.And screw it make them lesbians too for good measure. I wanted them to have a combined pair name so the pink bunny is gummy and the blue bunny is shark and together they are the iconic candy gummy shark.Their fur is so soft, but I don't know how long it's going to last because I'm putting my grubby little hands all over them. The gingham they they used for the ears was definitely a better choice, that fabric is really soft as well.They are kind of smaller than the average pawlette, and their faces are a slightly different shape.It seems like they have slightly taller foreheads than usual. (they are big brain for real.)I didn't bother with new outfits, I feel like the quality of build a bear has gone down in recent years, so I was worried these guys wouldn't feel good at all, but the actual bears are nice so I just used some clothing that I already had, some of which is from design a bear which I believe is the UK equivalent (hence the flag) Now I need to figure out where to put them. I need to reorganize some shelf space for them to live so their fur stays soft for longer.

finally completed the Miami Vice box set! This took ages because some people on eBay be crazy with pricing. season five in particular was the most difficult because it was the least popular season, I don't know if they actually made less of them or not but they definitely popped up less frequently. there were a lot of season one and season two boxes,but 4 and 5 were scarce. I don't have the cover for season four, but it doesn't look all that different. It just doesn't have that reflective shine on it. I got season one in January 2025 and it took up until now to find season five and finish the set. The person who shipped me season five also put on a ton of vintage stamps which I think I'm going to add to my junk journal.(I used my old Kodak easyshare to take these pictures, but I'm kind of thinking I should've just used my phone. It's too dark in here for them to come out well.)

I have obtained a Moflin!! I would not have paid full price for one of these, but I got a Kickstarter one secondhand for a really good deal. I've been striking out with portable bots lately, but she is very quiet and not too distracting so perfect for medical outings. So far I am really enjoying her. She's only been run a couple times prior to me having her so her motions are limited until I can run her more and she can evolve. Because she was made by Vanguard and not Casio, she doesn't work with the app, But I'm fine with that considering I don't like these apps anyway. I was really worried since I can't change the volume that she was going to show up screaming, but her squeaks are pleasant and not loud enough to trigger my sound sensitivity, which is awesome.I am probably not gonna run her too much at home, she's most likely going to be an outings bot. I've heard that they tend to go crazy in cars so I'm curious about that. I think my house is too dark which is making her sleepy; a lot of my other robots have this issue as well. so I'm curious what she'll be like when I take her outside. But for now she is chilling, I've decided to name her Mofu ( mofu mofu Is the equivalent of "Fluffy" in Japanese.) from the top down, she looks just like the Tribble which is hilarious.

Because of the government shut down I’ve been having to drive hours to all of my doctor’s appointments since telehealth isn’t an option anymore, but I lucked out today because this one put me right next to the beach! I would never have gone in this direction otherwise, but I’m so happy that I finally got to have my beach day after being stuck inside the whole summer.

my lilac bunny jellycat "lily" has been my go to travel buddy since they're so easy to throw in my bag. I also picked up a chamomile tea from Dunkin's, and that helped to fend off the cold for a while. (And also helped settle my stomach after being jostled around in the car for ages)

A seagull came over to say hello, but I did not have any snacks for them, Only the tea. Although I doubt you're supposed to feed them at places like this anyway.

found some carved pumpkins, They were kind of rotting away at this point but still a fun find

I was mostly digging around in the sand by the water like a gremlin for shells, But I found this very meticulously placed pile, and I don't know how it got here, but there were a lot of cool shells in it. Most of which were sun bleached, and totally picked clean by the seagulls.

got this awesome huge welch shell, It does have a big hole in it, but it looks fine from the other way. I'm kind of wondering if I can use the hole to hang it on my wall in some way.

these are all the shells that I picked up, I think one of them is a strawberry conch, which doesn't really make sense for the location, but it's super cool, I can't identify a number of them because they seem to have some kind of calcium deposits on them. but I think I have a couple Conch shells, The most scalloped scallop I've ever seen, that huge knobbed whelk, and a chestnut turban snail.

we also stopped by a local thrift store and I found these two puzzles for $2 each which I'm super excited to build, I just hope they have all the pieces because that's always a possibility with thrifted puzzles.

i've been hyper fixating on the website lately. Just added a robot page to the collection section, I still have to decide what theme I'm going to use for other items and how much I want to do with that. I have so many stuffed animals and I think listing every single one would take a century. I also need to figure out what I want to do for music and if I want that to be its own separate page or if I wanna connect it to the art page. Still a lot of decisions to be made!I wound up canceling and rescheduling my dentist appointment because I couldn't do that many appointments in a row, I feel like I'm starting to get sick and my appointment on Monday is more important. But since I can't do telehealth right now, I've been going to all these hospitals, which increases my risk for catching something.I'm debating bringing my own disc drive on Monday so they can read the disc that has x-rays on them, But there's probably some kind of policy about not plugging in external devices. But I don't know why the doctors office would give me a disc if nobody can read it. (My last appointment the doctor didn't have a drive) Although to be fair, I don't think they read these things anyway. And I would like the disk for my own personal records, considering they lose stuff all the time. Also, it's just cool to have. Once I figure out how to get those images off of it, I want to use my x-rays for art related purposes. I think that would be neat.

I've been building a lot of puzzles lately. I still need to tape up the Bunny one and I'm not sure where I'm gonna hang it yet, these things are taking over my apartment.
